Part-Time Outpatient Therapist (In-Person or Virtual) – NC

Essence Counseling and Wellness (ECW) is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part-Time Outpatient Therapist to join our growing practice. At ECW, we primarily serve teens and young adults, with a mission to help clients heal, energize, and discover their inner strengths. Our approach centers on providing a safe, neutral space, actively listening to client concerns, and developing practical, individualized treatment plans. We are committed to upholding strong ethical standards while fostering a supportive, client-centered environment.

• Schedule: Part-time, flexible hours
• Work Environment: Option to provide therapy in-person and/or virtually
• Caseload: 15–20 clients, averaging 10 sessions per week
• Location: North Carolina (must be licensed to practice in NC)
• In-person sessions will take place at our Concord office

• Active and unrestricted North Carolina license preferred (LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, or equivalent). If provisionally licensed, there should be at least 600 hours of services documented under the current supervisor.

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in private practice and/or group practice settings. Internship experience can qualify as work experience.

• Strong commitment to ethical clinical practice and professional boundaries.

• Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative member of our team.

• Provide outpatient therapy to individuals (and potentially couples/families, if qualified)
